FULL-VIEW PLZ. :)
I decided to do another portrait of Rob, but using a GQ outtake for this one...:)

After all I needed a new portrait for display, lol...XD

(Oh, and I used GIMP to clean up the dirt marks that were from the scanner...:pissed:!)
total working time: Around 15 hours (thanks to his trademark locks...:shakefist:! )
tools: pencils HB, B, 2B, 3B, 6B, 8B, & 9B as well as a thin-mark Sharpie

OMFG How did you do this?! It is absolutely amazing. The look in his eyes, the stubble, the hair...it is mind boggling.

What steps do you take when drawing? Do you draw a grid, start with the eyes, etc?

I start with a light sketch of measurements, then start directly on the eyes. Nose, lips, come next. Shading of face, then I do the outline of the face, and hair is always last. :)
